NVIDIA launching RTX series cards this year, showing great potential with bump in core clocks and some also got more VRAM installed, NVIDIA fight back to AMD new line up was a must to compete against prices and close to performance specs.
Prices and release dates on the super series cards show cases NVIDIA price point snag to keep users on team Green.

The RTX 2060 Super got a bump not just in core clocks and memory but also been bumped up in VRAM from 6GB to 8GB which has been said 2060 Super is a glorified 2070 PCB re branded to the 2060 Super.
The Specs on the 2060 super compared to the original 2060 is below:
As you can see the 2060 super has more CUDA cores and slight boost on core clock but lacks 30mhz on the boost clock, but what makes up for it is the VRAM from 6GB to 8GB and also Memory bus Width from 192-bit on the 2060 to 256-bit on the 2060 super.
2060 Super performance as shown in the chart below shows a significant increase in performance over the standard 2060.
Now we look at the 2070 super series card, which is now been looked at the new 2080 as performance from the super series card is almost on par with the standard 2080.
Specs on the 2070 Super is shown below table:
As shown above table 2070 Super got a few upgrades from the standard 2070 with higher CUDA cores, higher Core clocks and Boost Clocks over the RTX 2070 , if you notice also TDP been bumped from 175W to 215W but what makes this interested is the GPU die it self, it is the exact same as the 2080 with the TU104 compared to the standard 2070 with the TU106, Another feature NVIDIA added to the RTX 2070 Super is NV-LINK, the standard 2070 PCB did not allow for SLI on the RTX 2070 only the RTX 2080 and up cards.
Below we have some performance charts show casing the 2070 Super in 1080p and 1440p gaming against RTX 2070 and the GTX 1080ti.
now we have 1440p gaming once again RTX 2070 and the GTX 1080ti performance is way below the RTX 2070 Super series card right through all the games on max settings.
We will be doing a separate article on the 2080 Super series card with a comparison of all Super series cards performance against each other.
What are your thoughts have NVIDIA just renamed Ti cards with Super? is this just another ploy from NVIDIA to crush AMD once again let us know below in the comments section.
