1. Player Requirements.
The following rules and information are about Player Requirements.

1.1. Information.
PC419 Tournament players are required to follow and respect all rules given. If rules are broken we will take immediate action to punish players. If you know of any players disobeying these requirements please report them to an admin as soon as possible. Any information given to us about players breaking rules will need to be presented with a sufficient amount of evidence, you can contact an admin via the tournament discord.

1.1.1. Oceanic Region Only.
PC419 Tournament players need to be located within the Oceanic Region, players that are not from the Oceanic Region will be disqualified and not allowed to participate.

1.1.2. VAC Banned Accounts.
Players that are in the Tournament will not be allowed to participate if they have been VAC banned. If a player has been VAC banned on a previous account or "Alt" they will also not be allowed to participate. Any information given to us about participating players VAC banned accounts will be investigated by PC419 Admins, you can contact us via private message on discord.(edited)

1.2. Sportsmanship.
PC419 Tournament players are expected to uphold a reasonable manner of sportsmanship throughout the Tournament. Players will be required to maintain this level of sportsmanship prior to, during and after the Tournament matches. Sportsmanship does not only refer to the respect given amongst other teams, players will have to sustain this same level of respect to administrators, casters and spectators. Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated, if you wish to let us know of any Unsportsmanlike behavior happening within our tournament please contact us via our discord.

1.2.1. Don't Discriminate or be Racist.
If Players are caught bulling or being racist during the Tournament hefty punishments will be applied. Contact us here to report players under these circumstances.

1.2.2. Be Respectful to Fellow Competitors.
Tournament players are expected to show a level of respect to their fellow competitors within the tournament. lack of respect will be looked down upon by PC419 Staff.

2. Team Requirements.
The following rules and information are about Team Requirements.

2.1. Information.
Each team competing in the tournament will consist of 5 core members, an optional 2 substitutes and 1 optional coach (and or) manager. All members in the team will need to adhere to the player requirements listed in “Player Requirements”.

2.2. Substitutions.
Two substitute players will be allowed in each team. Substitute players may be used at any time during the tournament except when a game is already in progress.(edited)

2.3. Coaches.
One coach may be used during the tournament. If the coach disconnects from the match at any point they will not be permitted to join back. If the coach rejoins the game the participating team will receive a loss for that match. This is due to when coaches rejoin they can see the opposing teams equipment.

2.4. Roster Changes.
Roster changes are permitted at any stage until the tournament commences. Any participants who are added to the roster, must comply with all standards mentioned here.

3. Schedule/Bracket.
The Tournament schedule/bracket will be publicly available. It will be hosted on challonge.com and can be found here www.challonge.com/e5uxtp54 . Schedule announcements may also be made on the PC419 Discord, Twitter, Website & Facebook.

3.1. Match Start Time.
Match Times will be listed on the Challonge Bracket. Teams will be allowed 10 minutes extra time for late arrivals, if teams only have 4/5 players after this extra time is over the team will be able to compete, however they will be forced to play with only those 4 players for the entirety of the match. If a team only has 3 players or less after the extra time, the match win will be awarded to the other team.

3.2. Choosing Maps (Veto).
Veto's will be done within the Tournaments Discord (see #veto-help-guide for more info). Teams will elect one player to pick maps in the Veto's. For best of one's (BO1's) teams will take turns in banning maps until 1 map remains. The remaining map is the one that players will play on. For BO3's teams will choose in this order; Ban, Ban, Pick, Pick, Ban, Ban and the remaining map will be the 3rd map in the BO3.(edited)

 

​4. Exploits.
​Exploits will be not tolerated when participating. If you catch players using exploit please report them immediately to PC419 staff. If players are caught exploiting the tournament their team will be disqualified from competing in the tournament and the individual player will be permanently banned from competing in further PC419 Tournaments.

4.1. Map Exploits.
Exploits such as Wall Clipping, Undefusable Bomb Plants or Pixel Walking will not be allowed when participating in the Tournament. Please report players if you catch them using either of these exploits.

4.2. Cheats/Hacking.
Cheating/Hacking will not be tolerated. If players are cheating or hacking they will be kicked out of the Tournament and not be allowed to compete ever again in any other PC419 Tournament. The team that the Cheater was playing for will be removed from the tournament. You must record a pov for each game you play.

4.3. Bhop Scripting/Autohopping.
Bhop Scripting will not be allowed in the tournament. If caught the individual player will be disqualified from the Tournament. If a player has been disqualified the team may continue to play with a substitute.

5. Server And Player Crashes.
​The following rules and information are about server and player crashes.

5.1. Server Crashes.
If the server crashes, players will be directed by Tournament admins to reconnect to the server. Admins will do their best to get the match back to the or similar state that it was previously at before the crash. Please try and screenshot the scores to assist with getting the match to its previous state.

5.2. Player Crashes.
If there happens to be a player crash teams will be allowed to use their technical pause to get their player back into the server. If however the time exceeds their pause time the team will be forced to play without their 5th player. The player that has crashed will be able to reconnect to the match at the beginning of the round.

6. Registration.
Registrations to the qualifiers are on the PC419 website. Once the tournament is full (16 teams) registrations will close.(edited)

​7. Match Information.
The following rules and information are about Match Information.

7.1. Match Start Time.
The first matches each day will commence at 11:00am AEST on the 20th/21st of October 2018

7.2. Reschedules.
No match reschedules will be permitted. When you register you are agreeing that your team will be available to play any time on the tournament days. If a member of your team is unable to participate you may use one of your 2 nominated substitutes to fill their position.

7.3. Map Pool.
The Map Pool will be CS:GO's current Active Duty Group. The maps in the Map Pool are as follow; Dust 2, Inferno, Mirage, Cache, Nuke, Train and Overpass.

7.4. Match Pausing.
Team will be granted 2 tactical pauses per half and 1 technical pause. Tactical being 2 minutes long and Technical being 5 minutes. The match may be paused however if there is an error or crash within the server.

​8. Prizes.Prizes will be given to the top 3 teams of the Tournament. The total Prize Pool of the Tournament will be $600 AUD. First Prize will receive $300 + 5x (one each) Masterset MS121Keyboard & Mouse sets, Second Prize will receive $200 and Third Prize will receive $100. Prizes will be given to teams via PayPal after the Tournament has finished. For further questions regarding Prizes please contact an admin.

9. Disputes.
Disputes need to be carefully managed as both teams will have a different side to their story, we will have an unbiased view on the situations given to us and manage them to the best of our abilities.

9.1. Evidence.
When disputing a certain level of evidence will be required. If we deem that the evidence given to us is not conclusive enough the dispute will be ignored.
